Mt Carmel Bowling League

Bowlers wanted. The Mt Carmel Bowling League is set to begin on Saturday, September 10, at Center Lanes, at 6:30 in the evening. Our season runs about thirty (30) weeks to April. The four team roll off determines bragging rights for the summer. The league finishes the season with an Awards Banquet about two weeks after the roll offs. We're a mixed league. Ages run from 20’s to 80’s. Averages run from 100 to 200. Each year we create new team rosters from scratch, using averages and handicaps to ensure balance and even competition. So, last year's loyal teammate is likely this year's honorable competitor. Our by-laws have a liberal provision for weekly roll offs to handle our individual needs to attend weddings, birthday parties, and other needs that arise through the year. We take off the Saturday between Christmas and New Year.

The weekly cost last year was $17.00, which paid for the three games, the banquet, and cash prizes. We return all treasury funds in even dollars (nothing spent on trophies). The USEC sanction fee was a single payment last year of $17.00, which allows those interested to enter US Bowling Congress tournaments.

This year's costs will be close to those of the past.

Enjoy bowling and a night out? Consider joining us this year. Our main products are chuckles and fellowship.

Bags and Blessings

*August 12th is the last day to register in time to get this year's race t-shirt!!!***

Bags and Blessings is a ministry of hope and love for those who are experiencing cancer treatment.  It was started by Robin Redfern (Sherri Garcias’ sister), after her own experience. Bags and Blessings demonstrates God’s love through gifts and personal encouragement, helping patients fight the disease and look forward in hope for the future. The annual fundraisers for this ministry are a gift bag auction on September 9, followed by a fun walk/run on September 10, 2022. Please check out the website for more information and registration, bagsandblessings.org

Ways to get involved:

  • Register to participate and fund raise in the fun walk/run
  • Sponsor a participant
  • Donate a gift basket or gift card for the auction (text Robin: 724-630-7262)

The Extreme Tour

UnCommon Grounds has partnered with Life Family Church in New Brighton to bring theextremetour.com to Aliquippa! Mt Carmel Church has agreed to house the bands that will perform in the August 31 Concert. The Extreme Tour will sleep in our upstairs classrooms August, 29, 30 and 31.

We ask the congregation to refrain from entering the church during sleeping hours as we have for missions groups that stay at Mt. Carmel.

THANK YOU for using the gifts our church has been blessed with to bless others!
