New Morning Mercies - 2026 Daily Devotional
How many of you have a copy of the Everyday Gospel Devotional by Paul
Tripp? How many of you read the daily devotions, or the bible reading plan, or
watch the Bible project videos? The unity of doing this together is bearing good
fruit in our church. So, we have a new devotional for 2026! It’s New Morning
Mercies by Paul Tripp. It’s available at the Welcome Center. Please take a copy
and join in!
The Mt. Carmel Church Mission Committee is excited to invite you to participate in our Soup Collection for Manna. Please bring in your hearty soup donations. We are looking for soups that contain protein: beef, chicken, turkey etc.
We’ll collect canned soups beginning December 28th – January 18th.

4th Annual Mt. Carmel Fish Fry Potluck!
The Mt. Carmel Church Family will be hosting a FISH FRY Potluck to kick off Lent on Wednesday, February 18th from 6-7:30pm.
We will gather in the fellowship hall for fish, fellowship, and fun as we share a meal together.
We want you to invite your friends to this very special evening.
Sign up this Sunday at the Welcome Center at church to give us a total of how many people you expect to come so that we can purchase enough fish (or we will have to pray for God to multiply the fish). If you are inviting friends, please include them in your total count. We are also asking you to consider bringing a side or dessert or both. If you are available to help set up or clean up, please let us know. You can let us know via the sign-up link or sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center.
If you could sign up by Wednesday, February 7th we sure would appreciate it.
Thank you!

Women's Afternoon Bible Study
Ladies! We are beginning a new bible study series on Tuesday, January 6th, 12:30pm -1:30pm
The study is from RightNow Media and is titled The Gospel of Luke with J.D. Greear
How Do You Respond to Jesus?
Who is Jesus of Nazareth, and what does he ask of us? For help answering these questions, we can turn to Luke’s orderly account of Jesus’s life and ministry—the Gospel of Luke. In this eleven-session series, pastor and author J.D. Greear will walk through the first half of Luke’s Gospel, highlighting who Jesus is, what he did, and how the people around him responded. Luke shows us that Jesus is the savior who came to seek and save people in need, including us—and we must decide how to respond when he lovingly moves toward us.
This is a great time to join in - we welcome newcomers! Questions? Contact Donna Medich dmedich@hotmail.com 412-671-4056
