You can still sign your kids up!!

Attention all kids age 3 through 21 with special needs, please join us for our Summer Events!!!!

This year we will be gathering on 5 Thursdays throughout the summer to have fun a little differently than our normal VBS Program.  There will still be games, crafts, music, and learning about God, but it will be occur throughout the summer instead of just one week.  This year we are making adaptations and providing a separate time for children who would benefit from a shorter time frame and some extra assistance.

We will start off activities such as crafts, songs, and adapted stories that follow the Owlagories videos.  We will start at 4:30 and move at a comfortable pace for the children.  Then at 5:30pm we will move into our fellowship hall to participate in fellowship and a light meal with the program ending at 6pm.

We would like to encourage a family member or caregiver to participate with your child so that we can learn more about you and your family while meeting the specific needs for each child.

Mt. Carmel is continuing to host The Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank as a distribution site for our community.

This month it will be on July 30th.

They are providing the boxes of food and we have the opportunity to volunteer in the parking lot checking people in or passing out the boxes to the cars that will be coming through.

The boxes weigh 25 pounds each.

Beaver Valley Church Plant

The Beaver Valley Church Plant is preparing to do the groundwork for the upcoming plant (things like key operational systems, discerning the location, the community, the mission, and vision). And, they are looking for people who want to be a part of this exciting adventure of reaching the unchurched for Christ in the next year. If you would like to be a part, either by simply joining them in prayer or joining the launch team (aka "The Roots Team"), shoot them an email at The prayer meeting and launch team meetings are currently taking place in person on Thursday nights.

If you would like to know more about the work, visit and follow them on Facebook @beavervalleyplant.

UPDATE 7/22/21:

In the last few weeks, we've enjoyed talking about the plant's values, mission, and vision with the Roots Team. And, we were blessed to have many people come out to the new Bible Study Sunday night! We enjoyed getting to know each other and discussing the book of Ephesians. And, we were super blessed to have someone take care good care of the kiddos during the study.

We've also had the opportunity to get to know a lot more people at our supporting churches and the community by serving at Kingdom Week at Mount Carmel EPC. Hope was especially blessed to be a part of leading musical worship a few nights. And, Eric enjoyed sharing God's Word one morning and serving alongside a crew helping to repair someone's house.

Another answer to your prayers is that we were notified on Monday that we have been accepted into Stadia's assessment August 23-26! Stadia doesn't invite just anyone to their assessment. So, we are blessed they have chosen us to attend. And, we pray that those intense four days in August will be both fruitful and encouraging.
