A Note from Pastor Mike:  As the pastor of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, I’d like to invite you to come and share the love of Jesus Christ within a community of loving and caring individuals & families. We seek to serve one another and the communities in which we live, and to do so in ways that are Biblically-Anchored and Christ-Centered. We gather together on Sunday mornings with great excitement and anticipation in meeting the Lord through Scripture, Prayer, Music, and Sacrament. We gather together throughout the week in a variety of ways to live out the charge of being followers of Christ. Please come and join us to share in the building of Christ’s kingdom.  Please don't hesitate to give me a call or stop by the church office.
Pastor Michael Anastas

  • Live Nativity

Our annual Live Nativity is quickly approaching.  This is a ministry is a HUGE opportunity for our church to reach out to our surrounding communities.  We cannot provide this community event without the help of the whole church!  Please think about how you would like to serve this year!  Positions we are in need of filling are: set up and clean up crews, actors, cookie bakers, soup makers, parking lot attendants, and in-church greeters and servers.  A sign-up board for positions is currently in the narthex!

  • Christmas Eve Service

Please join us for a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Saturday, December 24th at 7:00 pm.  We are so excited to celebrate the birth of our Savior!

  • Help Wanted!

The Christian Education Committee is searching for Spirit-filled individuals with a heart for children’s ministry to fill the following roles:

    Pathfinders Pre-K Teacher and Assistant

After some prayer and deliberation, we would like to start up a class targeting our preschoolers (age 3-5).

Currently there is no class offering for this age group, and these children are in the nursery during class time.

The format for this class is to be determined; we may adapt the Children and Worship format, or develop something new.

We are in need of two adults for this class; while termed a ‘teacher’ and an ‘assistant’ the two roles could easily be identical in scope and responsibility.

    Kids on the Move Shepherd

Our Kids on the Move program, for kindergarten through 4 th grade, is in need of a volunteer to serve as a shepherd.

The shepherd role acts as an assistant to the teachers to lead the various workshops (drama, kitchen, crafts, and science/games) that take place to teach Biblical stories and concepts to the students.

If you feel led to any of these open positions, please contact Andrew McClure (412-245- 6303).
